Uninstalling of Tomcat

1.            Uninstalling of Tomcat

1.1. Verify Tomcat folder

Locate to the original tomcat folder location and verify that the tomcat folder is there

1.2. Stopping Tomcat service

Click on the search icon in desktop and search for Services

 

 

 

Locate the SAML tomcat service from the Services page

 


Right click on the tomcat and select properties

 

Select “disabled” under Startup type

 

Select “stop” under Service status, select Apply and then select OK

 


1.3.        Uninstalling Tomcat

Click on the search icon on Desktop and search for control panel

 

 

 

Select “Uninstall a program”

 

Locate the Apache Tomcat, right click and select Uninstall/Change

 

Proceed to uninstall Tomcat

 

1.4.        Verify Tomcat

Locate back to the original location of the tomcat folder to verify that the Tomcat folder has been removed.
